All About Jon Grenier: Staff Spotlight

Originally from upstate New York, Jon found that he was growing tired of the long northeastern winters and decided to give Las Vegas, where he had family, a try. He has now been here for 13 years. Jon discovered SkyWire through a college acquaintance turned close friend: SkyWire’s VP and General Manager.

In college, he majored in broadcasting with aspirations of becoming a Sportscaster, and although that was not the path he followed in the end, he still loves sports. He regularly golfs, loves college basketball, and in the summertime, Jon travels and sees baseball games in different ballparks around the country.

While he won’t refer to him as a prized, “possession”, Jon is most attached to his 10-year old American Bulldog, Harley, who has traveled across the country with him on more than one occasion.

All about Joe Walczak- Staff Spotlight

Growing up, Joe, our Vice President of Strategic Accounts, wanted to be a professional fisherman. More specifically, fly fishing, something that he still loves to do. Although he could probably fly fish in nearby Lake Mead, he prefers to take his hobby on the road and into Big Sky Country, traveling to Montana and Utah to get his fix.

When he is at home in Las Vegas, he is an avid gardener. “I’ve got ‘Joe’s Farm’, I grow my vegetables. I grow a little bit of everything, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, Swiss chard, kale. I always try to do a lot of tomatoes because I like them and they are way better than what they have at the store, and then I always try something a little different too,” he says.
